Terms of Service
Version 2.0 — last updated: October 9, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of InterconnectEM (interconnectem.com, “we”, “us”). By using this website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. The service
InterconnectEM is a free engineering reference website. It provides part-number search, parametric decoding, cross-reference information, links to official qualification sources, and live stock and pricing information obtained from third-party distributors. Search is open to all visitors. Manufacturer cross-reference data is available only to registered users of a free account.
2. Accuracy and engineering responsibility
All data on this site is provided “as is” for technical evaluation and preliminary research only. We work to keep it accurate, but we do not guarantee that any part number, specification, cross-reference, QPL/QPD status, stock level or price is complete, current or error-free. You are solely responsible for verifying all data against official specification sheets and manufacturer documentation before design, qualification, procurement or integration. Our Engineering Verification & Liability Disclaimer forms part of these Terms, as do sections 2A, 2B and 2C below.
2A. Cross-references, equivalents and substitution
Cross-reference data on this site links part numbers that appear, on the information available to us, to be related. A cross-reference is not a statement that two parts are equivalent, interchangeable, or of matching form, fit or function; not a recommendation or approval to substitute one part for another; not a statement that a part is qualified, approved, or listed on any QPL or QPD; and not a confirmation that a part meets any specification, revision, class, or source-control drawing.
Parts sharing a cross-reference may differ in materials, finish, plating, contact arrangement, keying, revision level, qualification status, country of origin, or approved source. Qualification and approval status is determined solely by the cognizant authority (for QPL/QPD, the Defense Logistics Agency) and by the manufacturer’s own documentation.
Any decision to substitute one part for another is yours alone. You must verify every cross-reference against the current specification sheet and the manufacturer’s documentation, and obtain any approval your own programme, customer, or quality system requires, before specifying, qualifying, procuring, or installing a part. We are not a party to that decision and accept no responsibility for it.
2B. No engineering advice; no reliance
We are not acting as your engineer, consultant, or adviser, and no professional relationship is created by your use of this site. Nothing on the site is engineering, procurement, qualification, regulatory, or legal advice.
By using the site you acknowledge that you are a competent professional using it for preliminary research only; that you have independent access to the official specifications and manufacturer documentation; and that you do not rely, and will not rely, on this site as the sole or determining basis for any engineering, qualification, or procurement decision.
2C. Critical applications
The site must not be used as a sole or primary data source for any application in which a component failure could cause injury, loss of life, or significant damage, including aerospace, flight, defence, space, nuclear, medical, life-support, and safety-critical industrial systems. For such applications you must work only from the official specification and the manufacturer’s released documentation.
3. Stock, pricing and third-party sites
Live stock and pricing come from distributors’ systems (such as DigiKey and Mouser) and may change at any time. We do not sell parts and we are not a party to any purchase you make. The Check QPL/QPD button opens the official DLA website, and links to distributor and manufacturer websites take you off this site. Those sites are governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, prices or practices.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the site for your own professional or personal research. You must not: copy, scrape, download or harvest the database or its cross-reference data in bulk, by automated means or otherwise; use bots, scripts or crawlers to query the site; attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls or security measures; interfere with or overload the site; or use the site for any unlawful purpose. We may limit, suspend or block access that we believe breaches these Terms.
If you hold a registered account: only one active sign-in is allowed per account; a daily limit applies to the number of distinct parts for which cross-reference data may be viewed; and you must not share, sell or transfer your credentials, or allow another person to use your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches this section, without notice.
5. Intellectual property
The website, its design, text, guides and the compilation, structure and selection of its parts database and cross-reference data belong to InterconnectEM and are protected by law. Manufacturer names, trademarks and specification numbers belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification. You may not reproduce or redistribute the site’s content or data except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
6. Reports and requests you send
If you send us an error report, a request to index a part, or a message, you allow us to use the information you provide to correct, improve and expand the site. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. No warranty and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and all data are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the site will be available, uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, InterconnectEM will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage, including design errors, production delays, qualification failures, lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its data.
8. Changes
We may change the site, its features or these Terms at any time. When we change these Terms we will update the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them.
10. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact form.
